Daflis, Beats, Slogans are back in JNU

The most discussed and debated University, Jawaharlal Nehru University in India is going to conduct election on March 22, after four years. On March 20, the Campus is going to see its most awaited presidential candidates debates in which candidates from different parties will come and speak on the behalf of their organisations. Along with campus issues like, poor hostel facilities, lack of infrastructure, low amount of research seats,  lack of scholarships, the candidates will also throw light on contemporary issues like communalism, caste discrimination, Israel-Palestine issues, women safety, child abuse, poverty, unemployment.

The campus is in different mood, you can see Mashaal juloos by left parties and ABVP. People are pasting colourful posters in the walls of campuses, you can find students at Ganga Dhaba discussing about caste, religion agenda of different organisations. Students are beating daflis along with their revolutionary songs, sloganeering for social justice, women empowerment.  On 23rd March the JNU will get a new President after four years.
