Today, on 24th June, the first session of 18th Lok Sabha is commenced. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the other members of parliament are taking oath and affirmation.
The day comes with many surprises, as the opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi leader Akhilesh Yadav walked with the copies of Constitution in their hands. Also, when PM Modi was taking his oath , they lifted copies of constitution. The opposition leaders also called out Union Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan for UGC NET exam cancellation and NEET scam.
In the 18th Lok Sabha, the house has leader of opposition. Till now, it has not decided that who will be leader of opposition, but this time their agenda revolves around the constitution. As, INC leader Rahul Gandhi also said that ‘no one can do anything with constitution.’
