After landslide victory of BJP in three states, BJP also made its print in Mizoram. BJP has won two seats in Mizoram Saiha and Palak. The two MLA belongs to Maras community, an ethnic minority but they follow Christianity. in the last election, in which BJP contested for the first first time had won 1 seat from the Tuichwang seat by Buddha Dhan from Chakma community who follows Buddhism. The BJP cadre of Mizoram said that the party is opening its arms for other communities and they are also accepting Christians into their fold.
