France’s President Emmanuel Macron has accepted an invitation to serve as the chief guest for India’s 2024 Republic Day celebrations, as announced by the Elysee French presidential palace on Friday, December 22.
The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a corresponding statement, confirming President Macron’s visit. The statement reads, “In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation, His Excellency Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of France, will be attending India’s 75th Republic Day celebrations as the Chief Guest.”
