Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to the residence of Meera Manjhi in Ayodhya on Saturday, where he shared a cup of tea. Meera Manjhi is the 10th crore beneficiary of the government’s Ujjawala scheme, which offers financial assistance for LPG connections to BPL households. The Prime Minister’s visit coincided with the family receiving the gas connection just a day earlier. While enjoying a cup of tea, PM Modi remarked, “The tea is really good, and I know this well, having been a chaiwala myself.”
