The ethnic conflict between Meitei and Kuki-Zomi community and Meitei community is not ending, on 6th February, a nine-member delegation met a team of officials of Home Ministry, in which they had addressed their concerns related to the ongoing conflict. They had also raised the issue of Free Movement Regime (FMR) with Myanmar. Adding on they also raised the January 24 incidence, when Arambai Tenggol, a radical Meitei group, administered oath to elected representatives to “protect the integrity of Manipur”. They also talked about power outages in hill districts of Manipur, Churachandpur and Pherzawl. They had also requested to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah personally.
