Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Prayagraj, asserted on Sunday that OBC, Dalit, and tribal communities, constituting 73% of the population, do not own a single one of the top 200 companies in India.
Speaking to the gathering at the Lakshmi Talkies intersection near Allahabad University, he emphasized the significance of a caste census as an “X-ray of the country” that would unveil crucial information. Gandhi urged the youth to recognize their population and determine their share in the nation’s wealth.
He stated, “How much wealth do the 73 per cent castes have in this country? Caste census is the X-ray of the country. This will reveal everything.”
