harkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has approved a caste-based survey in the state, similar to the one conducted in neighboring Bihar, as per a senior official on Sunday.
The Chief Minister has instructed the personnel department to draft the Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for conducting the survey and present it for cabinet approval, the official stated.
If the plan progresses as intended, the survey is set to commence after the Lok Sabha elections, the official added.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister hinted at the survey, stating, “Jiski Jitni Sankhya Bhari, Uski Utni Hissedari” (The larger the population, the greater the share).
